About Our Part-Time Program in Alpharetta

You want time for your family without sacrificing your child's learning experience. You want flexibility that does not mean compromising on quality. These hopes are so common among parents, and we understand how much they matter. Our part-time preschool program was created with families like yours in mind. Your child receives the same nurturing space, engaging curriculum, and quality care as our full-time students, but on a schedule that brings you peace of mind. Children participate in enriching experiences that spark curiosity, support development, and nurture a love of learning that will stay with them. You get the start you want for your child while keeping the flexibility your family needs. This is not a lesser version of our program. It is simply a different path to the same beautiful beginning.

From 6 Weeks to 5 Years: Development Support For Every Stage

Your child's early years shape everything that comes next, and it is only natural to want to give them the strongest possible foundation. Research shows that 90% of brain growth happens before kindergarten, and a child's brain even doubles in size during the first year of life. These early days build the foundations for how children learn, explore, and understand the world. Our Alpharetta classrooms create an environment where toddlers explore with wonder, preschoolers prepare for kindergarten with confidence, and even our youngest children receive individualized attention that helps them reach important milestones. The curriculum adapts to your child's age and abilities, meeting them exactly where they are.

Language and Literacy Growth

Young children build vocabulary through songs, stories, conversations, and playful language activities. These moments support milestones like forming sentences, recognizing sounds, and understanding that words carry meaning. What surrounds children shapes them, and our language-rich environment provides exactly the kind of setting where communication skills flourish. You might be surprised by how quickly your child's vocabulary expands when they are immersed in warm, responsive conversation throughout their day.

Early Motor Skills Development

Children strengthen coordination through painting, drawing, building, outdoor play, and movement activities. These experiences help little ones develop both fine motor skills and larger physical abilities they will use for life. Regular outdoor time helps children build strength, coordination, and healthy habits while fostering a connection with nature. There is something special about watching a child gain confidence in their own body, mastering new movements with pride.

Social and Emotional Learning

Students learn to share, take turns, express feelings, and play kindly with others in our supportive environment. Our caring educators guide each child as they navigate friendships and build confidence in group settings. Research from Early Childhood Research & Practice shows that children in mixed-age classrooms tend to show more kindness and cooperation, with less aggressive behavior, and these social benefits persist even years later in traditional same-age classes. Our center focuses on fostering emotional intelligence and helping children grow socially.

Creative Exploration and Play

Your child explores through art, music, dramatic play, and hands-on activities that make learning feel like joy. This approach helps children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and self-expression. When children have meaningful choices and engaging projects, they feel more capable, confident, and curious. Our classrooms honor that truth, allowing children to pursue interests that spark their imagination while building skills that matter.

Long-Term Academic and Life Success

The benefits of quality early education extend far beyond the preschool years. Research shows that children who attend early education programs are less likely to repeat a grade, more prepared academically for later learning, and more likely to graduate from high school. But beyond the statistics, parents tell us they simply see the difference in their children's confidence, curiosity, and love of learning. These early years create pathways to possibilities you cannot yet imagine.

Preparing for the Next Steps

Children in our program build kindergarten readiness through routines, following directions, participating in groups, and engaging with early academic concepts. Pre-K students learn to love school while developing skills that set them up for success. The transition to kindergarten feels natural when children have already experienced the joy of learning in a supportive environment. They arrive ready, confident, and excited for what comes next.

Every staff member took the time to get to know my child. my child's class teachers also go above and beyond for whatever each child needs to the best of their ability. The staff always seems very caring and you can see that they want the children to have positive experience's at their school. I am happy that they had an opening for my child. I will be sad when she starts first grade as she will not be here anymore.
